How it works

Getting in.

The Listening Club is open to all. The Social Club is only available via referral. A current member must invite you to apply.

Join the Listening Club

Sign up and the members area opens straight away. Enjoy mixes, live sets, the rewind archive, playlists and the chat.

Show up

Come to a listening session, connect in the chat. This is where most invites start.

Get referred

An existing member puts your name forward. The Social Club opens, and with it the Vault, HQ, the directory and the private events.

Questions

Before you join.

Do I need a referral to join?

Only for the Social Club. The Listening Club is free and open to anyone.

What happens after I request a Social Club invite?

The request comes to us rather than creating an account. Every request gets personally reviewed, and if we want to move forward, we'll set up a quick 15 minute intro call. If it's a yes, you get an email with a link to set your password. That link is yours alone. Social Club access isn't something that can be forwarded on.

What happens right after I join?

The members area opens immediately. You'll land in Sets & Playlists with the full archive, the live stream, the events calendar and the chat.

Can I move up from the Listening Club to the Social Club?

Yes, and that's what we want. Come to sessions, talk in the chat, be someone people want in the room. When a member refers you, we will reach out to you about filling out an application. Once accepted, your access updates the next time you open the members area.

Do I have to be in Los Angeles?

No! The mixes, live sets, archive and chat work from anywhere, and plenty of Listening Club members are tuned in from other cities. The in-person events are in LA (for now).

Will I be listed in the member directory?

Only if you ask to be. The directory is opt-in and Social Club only. Listening Club members aren't listed and can't browse it. Nobody's name, links or details go up without them saying so. We respect and protect everyone's privacy.

What's the difference between Founder, Early and Community Member?

Nothing except the price. All three are the same Social Club membership. The only difference is an appreciation and discount for our early adopters. Founder is the first twenty-five seats at $25 a month, Early is the next twenty-five at $40, and Community Member is the standing $50 rate after that. Join on a Founder or Early seat and you keep that rate for as long as you stay a member.

How many events can I go to?

Social Club members can RSVP to two events a week for free. All-Access removes the cap and lets you bring a plus one to any of them.

Listening Club members get invited to the public listening sessions, which aren't capped because they aren't ticketed.

Why can't I join at the Community Member rate?

Because the rounds open in order. Founder is the only one taking members right now; Early opens when Founder's 25 seats are gone, and Community Member after that. We recognize the earliest members are taking a bet on a room that doesn't have a track record yet, and we want to honor their faith in us.

What's an Ambassador?

An Ambassador is someone who throws their own events, parties, or activations and partners with us. Being an Ambassador gets your events on the Thiiird Place calendar and a guarantee of buying tickets in bulk in advance for our members to show up; in exchange you get All-Access rights — unlimited RSVPs and a plus one — at half the rate: $50 a month instead of $100.

It's a working relationship rather than a purchase, so email us at feelz@findyourthiiirdplace.com and we'll work out whether it fits both ways.

Can I cancel?

You can cancel at any time, from your account page. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
